20 months old today Buddy! How can it be? I miss you more than words can say. I love you more than words can say. And there's this ache-y feeling in my heart today, because I miss you so much. Just wish I could watch you play and run and knock over a tower of blocks then giggle, and snatch you up and give you kisses on your belly and neck, and tell you I love you.
I wish so many things differently than how they are, simply because there's a huge ocean between us, and I just want you home, here.
But just like I wouldn't want you to be sad today, you don't want a sad Mommy. So I pray you feel the sunshine on your face, and the kisses of your dear foster parents, have something sweet to eat today, and that God will carry my love to you.

(More blog posts to come soon - there's so much to say, and yet not much to update about the adoption process. Please pray the process moves along - the first court dates for adoptive families that I know of are being set for May and June, which is a praise and truly positive, but no personal movement yet. Its very disappointing to know we'll most likely miss his 2nd birthday too at this point. Thank you beyond words for prayers for the process and for patient, trusting hearts.)
