Much has changed. Life has gotten busier. We are a homeschooling family and so this homeschooling mama doesn't stay up as late and write blog posts as I used too. Each week goes fast and yet some of them felt long, but next week we are heading out to Seoul!!!
As months have passed and the process has moved forward for us....
- Steps -
Emigration Permission submission - DONEEmigration Permission approval - DONEBenjamin's paperwork submitted to Family Court for reviewAssigned a Court Date which dictates first trip- First Week-long Trip to South Korea (includes meeting Benjamin and appearance in Family Court)
- Waiting Period (not sure how long)
- Second Week-long Trip to South Korea & Bring Benny home!
We are waiting and learning and growing, and God is at work in our family, we know that. Can't say that the past 6 months were easy, nor the past 3 years of waiting. But hey, what's a few years of waiting for our boy when we many years ahead together? Not much. He is worth every second. Love him, love him so much.
I'm starting the blog up again as we prepare to travel. Thank you for the prayers more than anything, the friendship, the love, the financial support, the carving and sanding and sewing and baking and donating, the gifts for our trip, the hugs, the encouragement, the cake-pop making and bow-making, the Bible verses, the articles, the Thirty-One Bag-buying, the listening, the tear-catching, the love you've shared and dreaming along with us. We are blessed beyond what we can express and beyond what we deserve and honestly, we are so stinking excited to meet our son. Thank you Jesus!
